List of {Inter}National Blog Party Peeps:
Since, mother's day is just around the corner. I thought I'd make a mother's day card template. However, this is not the usual sentiment. It's especially made in mind of mom's like me, who've lost their babies, through miscarriage at any stage or at any time after. At the grocery store the other day, I looked at the shelves of mother's day cards for my mom & MIL, my sister, and friends - I couldn't help but wonder, what card would someone think to give me?

I know that my babies are in heaven, but I am still their mom. And I cherish the precious moments I was blessed with them in my womb. I miss them so much. I often imagine what they would be like today. It is true, this makes me sad many times. But, overall, I celebrate them. I run & walk to run & walk for them. I talk about them and want to remember them in a happy way, because I often think, they are looking upon me from above, wanting to see me happy. So, anyway, I thought I'd make my card template for moms like me, who don't ask to be called a mom, but still feel & know in their hearts that they are moms and they have angels above who miss them too.
Here is what I did with my 5x7 card template, which you can snag >>HERE<< The zip file includes my TOU and layered files in .psd and .tif versions. Or just click on preview below

Here's a sample card.

LuvNotes is a kit designed for a new site, that is under construction, called Dreaming with Pixels. It is a collaboration by JoAnne Valderama, Brooke Rochon and I. We had hoped to have it up and running this year, but, I am novice at zen cart, so, it's taking me awhile to figure it all out. But, to celebrate my 3yr. wedding anniversary, we're bringing my Dreaming with Pixels kit LuvNotes to K-Joi Studios, exclusively during the month of May :)

Here are previews of LuvNotes and sample LOs.
Oh, and did I forget to mention? - If you participate in this month's Lyric Challenge [create a LO with lyrics from the song Moody's Mood for Love or with lyrics from your wedding day's First Dance song] and post your LO in the K-Joi Studios Gallery and post the link to your LO in the K-joi Studios forum here...You'll win my entire LuvNotes Kit!

I'm also excited to share, that Brooke & I currently collaborating on a kit for an online traditional scrapbook store called Cocoa Daisy. Every month Tricia the owner of this Oregon based site, pulls together new & unique scrapbook paper and embellishments for a delicious monthly kit. This month is her goreous kit Japanese Tea Garden and her guest designer Emilie Ahern who's a familiar face on This is a link to her gorgeous >>gallery<<

The card you made for Mom's who've had miscarriages is beautiful. I think that makes you and anyone else as much of a Mom as someone who has given birth! I know mother's day must be so hard.
